UPDATE: so my sims had a strange habit of randomly vomiting even though they were healthy. But they'd all just once in a whole just start puking in the most awful way without any warning. I decided to finally look up wtf the problem was. So I googled "sims iPhone free play vomiting."
The answer was in a question thread with a few others asking the same thing. But apparently, they puke if you shake or jolt the phone too much in your hand if you're playing with them. Ill repeat. They get dizzy and sick to there stomach if you shake your hand held iphone too much. Because they can feel it. Like its a motherfucking earthquake.
After reading that, what hit me was a strange feeling combination of the biggest DUH yet BRILLIANT moment ever. "DUH YOU IDIOT, your iPhone can feel that shit. AND NOW SO DO YOUR SIMS. BRILLIANT!"
I proceeded to play an evil god and continuously shake my phone and have them puke everywhere. And the worst part was I couldn't stop laughing. IT'S SO SIMPLE YET SO ENTERTAINING. Felt bad cause the sounds were so realistic and the results were just nasty. But that was the most fun Id had have in while.
